Product certification
CE certification is based on the EU directive on safety and proves that the product has passed certain tests and that it can be legally sold anywhere in the EU and the European Economic Area.
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing assesses the level of electromagnetic emissions generated by the equipment. The test determines the potential of the equipment to affect other equipment in its vicinity, as well as the possibility that it itself can be affected by their electromagnetic emissions.
